I've been having the ps3 console for about 6 months now but i still havent unlocked its full potential.I have the 60GB version and i havent installed any OS into it.Someone told me that Linux YellowDog works fine with the console , but i find it very difficult to download it. Is anyone using any OS in their console? Please do provide info on where to download the OS too...

Just be careful about what you are doing. If you mess up, you could wipe your gamesaves and other files. >.<

Make sure you backup you saved games any game that you have purchased off the PSN, and anything else you care about because its all gone when you decide to install another OS.
