Is there by any chance a diagram that explains the battery pin layout for the Sager D900T available online?
I have been using my D900T for two years and it’s proved to be an excellent machine. However recently the battery has stopped working. I don’t often use it on battery power but its very convenient for moving the laptop about on standby without having to power down.
The laptop currently won’t work without mains power. When I run the system on mains power the ‘windows power icon’ flicks momentarily between 100% charged battery, 0% charged battery, and running purely on AC (mains) power.
I am unsure whether the battery, or the laptop itself is at fault because I rarely use the battery and I had also fallen whilst the laptop was in my backpack before I had noticed the problem with the battery. I am naturally concerned whether the bump caused a connection within the laptop to become loose.
If I verify whether the battery is working I would know the problem is within the laptop. However I don’t know which pins on the battery to use in testing the voltage, as there are many of them.
I have been trying to find out the function for each pin on the battery (whether positive or negative, and for which cell) on the internet but have not come across any useful information.
