aspire 5104 - slimtype dvd A DS8A1P error

hello all
when im trying to burn DVD i get "could not perform disc-at-one" and the media ejected
i get this error with all the programs iv'e tried include the vista build-in
my dvd rom is - slimtype dvd A DS8A1P
anybody can help please?

tried to get the latest acer driver/firmware support?

i found out that the media (Nashua) was the problem.....
just tried some other type of media (Teac) and it works fine...
thanks for help anyway
