v6120us the fan its always ON!

hi, i have a problem with my laptop compa v6120us the fan its always on! i dont know why because as far ai remember a few months ago it worked perfectly but now it never turns off and its wating my battery, so please can anyone can help me? know a solution? or something? i upgraded the bios cuz i thougt the bios controls that but now i dont know, so please help to stop this? o make it work normal?

check the bios setting if there is an option for the laptop fans.

review ur power setting and computer properties (device manager). It could have change with the bios update

possible your heatsink is clogged and not getting the proper airflow and causing the CPU to run hotter and therefore the logic board is turning it on and keeping it on to try and maintain stable temps?
