Earlier reports from all over the net stated ATI would not release any GPU higher than the X2 for CY08.

I am beginning to see a different story. R7xx are tapped. Hopefully it doesn't take 7-12 mos to release a new card.

Will be interested to see what the X2 does in QuadFire next month.

The 8800GT still holds my attention at the moment, although maybe the 9 series will take my attention off of it, really have to see some games played with it first.
