Games that kills time but won't kill GPU

well.. I'm in college, and I know most ppl on the forums here are, you know how boring sometimes it can get or if you're studying really hard and want a break.. and ya.. anyways...

I'm looking for some type of game, it doesn't have to be mmorpg, that kills time when I'm bored, keeps me entertained, but won't kill my laptop. I only bring my laptop to school, and its the one in my sig. so I'd need something that can support a weak video card. If I could play CoD4 on my macbook, even on all low, i'd play it. lol.

Doesn't matter if its on Windows or Mac, if its on mac, its a little better, but if its not, no worries, I got boot camp to save me there.

Anyone know a game that'll help in this situation?

Have you tried the games that you can download on the internet?
Crimsonland is one and is really worth the time playing since it's fun and has somehow good graphics (compared to others in its class).
Yahoo Games is fun to play.
