I am considering upgrading my Acer 5920G from a T5250 to either a T8300 or a T9300 which are both Penryn processors.
I was wondering if Penryn processors are compatible with the 5920G?
My second question is how much of a difference the L2 cache makes in game performance. The T8300 has a 4MB L2 cache and the T9300 has a 6MB L2 cache. Would the difference be worth paying an extra $75 for the T9300?
