Im going to replace my desktop with a laptop, and i want a pretty nice high end laptop. Have no idea what to look at, is it to extreme to wait and sli nvidia 8800 gtx cards or sli 8700 are good enough? Or is Sagers 1 8800 GTX good enough? I want a laptop that can play crysis and future games coming out pretty good. And can handle Company of Heroes lookin good. Which Companies should I be looking at?

I have this memory installed in my Inspiron 14R. 6gb (one 2gb & one 4gb). Great performance! I highly recommend Kingston.

Well what can I say, I needed that little bit of extra storage that as a family we could all use. After searching around I narrowed it down to three suppliers, not the cheapest, but all well...

I purchased this Nook Color specifically because I was taking a very long trip to China and wanted to be able to read without carrying a ton of books. I also liked that it had email capability...

This is an awesome mouse with an excellent grip for a mid sized to large size hand. Right-handed, comfortable, trendy, upscale, red, responsive, functional, task oriented. Overall A+++

I would wait until after February. Supposedly this is when the drivers will be out for 8800M's in SLI for notebooks. Otherwise right now the Sager NP792 is the top single GPU notebook until Alienware releases the M15X on Friday. If you are looking for a total DTR then look at the Sager NP9262, the Alienware M17X and Dell XPS m1730 once it is offered with 8800's in SLI.

You can get really good gaming results with a Inspiron 9400 (E1705) laptop with 2GB ram, duo core Cpu, and a 7950 gtx video card. Overclocked even better. Crysis on high. All without breaking the bank, and getting an alienware 2500 dollar notebook. The 9400s on this forum are really well priced for about 1000 or less sometimes more, sometimes less. That is the budget happy extreme gaming notebook.

HI. We gotta give SAGER thumbs up for being first actually selling this awesome power but everything comes for a cost...the looks are just not there. I am not telling you to waste money for Alienware either
). I am currently owning Dell and will go for new series of GATEWAY FX. Check it out for yourself. Everybody was talking about it during CES 08. Below are the specs and prices which will make you smile

Sager is good but Gateway LOOKS 8) even better.

That's pretty nice and a good price for starters. I'd like to stick with a 15.4 platform. The Alienware is probably the only 8800M option I'll have. I got tired of lugging my 17" laptop around and went to the 1520. I figured the 8600M GT would be okay for casual gaming. It's been a bit of a disappointment for me on shooters, namely CoD 4. Everything else about the 1520 has been great.
If Gateway were to have a sleek 15.4" with the 8800M equipped, I'd give it a thought. Thanks for the link.

I would recommend the Sager 9262 on our web site www.PCTorque.com. If you order dual 8800GTX graphic cards we can ship your notebook out with one and then when SLI becomes avialable we can ship you the second if you don't want to wait. It is very easy to install the second card and then it would just be a matter of downloading the driver off Sager's website. Please contact me at 1-800-346-6986 orSteven@PCTorque.com if I can be of further assistance.
