Dell Inspiron 1720 Notebook: Intel Core 2 Duo 17" Truelife Screen

The laptop is an unwanted Christmas gift. Anyhow, the specs are below:

Inspiron 1720 Notebook: Intel Core 2 Duo T7300 (2.0GHz/800Mhz FSB/4MB cache)
Ruby Red
1390 Wireless Card
160 GB SATA Hard Drive (5400RPM)
17 Inch Wide Screen with TrueLife (Glossy look)
2 GB DDR2 Duel Channel SDRAM 677MHz (2 DIMMs)
256MB NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT
8X DVD +/- RW w/dbl layer write capability
9 Cell Battery, Primary (4 hours of battery time)
90W AC Adapter
Adobe Acrobat 8.1 Reader
Dell Support Software 1.0
Genuine Windows Vista Home Premium
Microsoft® Office Home and Student 2007 - Word, Excel + PowerPoint, etc. (Original OEM CDs with Key)
Memory Card Reader (I think it is 8 - 1)
Anti Virus
1 year warranty.

I went to the Dell website and punched everything in. It came out to $1,862.00 plus CA tax = $2,015.62 total.
Dell has some sort discount of$339.00. Taking that in to account, $1,862.00 minus $339.00 is $1,523.00 plus CA Tax = $1,648.65 total on Dell.

PLEASE NOTE: Intel Core 2 Duo T7300 (2.0GHz/800Mhz FSB/4MB cache) is not LISTED for some reason. Anyhow, the price above is based on Intel Core 2 Duo (2.0GHz/800Mhz FSB/2MB cache) and NOT 4 MB cashe. I would factor in about $50 extra to the Dell price. Ya, I know, $50 for 2 more Megs, LOL. That is Dell and Intel for ya.

So $1,648.65 plus $50 = $1,698.65
I know every state has their own tax, so the total would vary from state to state.

Not sure if the link works.

ASKING $1,300.00 or your best offer!!!!

You should also list if the machine has any kind of warranty since its transferable.

For buyers also note the ruby red option is an extra layer of paint on the lid to strengthen its base and give it a gorgeous car paint job like finish on the lid.
