Hmm so like everyone else in this world I get the error message when trying to start up COD4 Multiplayer on my computer,
IDK how to fix it
I think I have the latest patch installed
this is a fresh format of windows to....

I had that happen too... unfortunately I can't remember how to fix it. I'd go to www.charlieoscardelta.com and do a search on the boards. That's where I ended up finding the fix for it.

you need to disable in game messaging with xfire.

its an xfire error not a COD4 error.
