Perhaps I was not paying enough attention but I noticed that I have a lot negitive credits. Since I have never used any or even know what they are I suspect it is in error. Also I noticed at the same time I no longer have any rep points. I have checked my posts and I haven't seen anything negitive so I suspect something got screwed up. I would appreciate it if someone would check it. Thanks!

When is the credit system/reward system like actually gonna start going? I remember back in february the prediction was april or may....lookin' like july at earliest it seems to me.

So I came to this forum WAYYYY back in Sept '03 when I bought my Prostar 8814 (Clevo D800p/Sager 8890)... which I am currently using right now!

Haven't visited for a while... LONG while. I must say, I don't like the layout, because of the ADs and extra padding around messages taking up so much room.

I know, I'm a little behind the times.

How about a review for a laptop that's been used for 5+ years? Too bad I'm a) too lazy, b) not very good at writing reviews anyway.

Anyway, back to topic... -321 credits?

no need to apologize, i read the FAQ, which was why i posted here. glitches happen.

but i am curious... how do I now have 237? is most of it based on how many posts i had made?

it's supposed to be 1 credit for every 4 posts, 1 credit for every thread, 100 for every news thread, and 5000 for every review. New members also get a 200 credit bonus when they sign up. I estimated a credit for each of your posts would give you 37, and since new members get a 200 credit signup bonus, I gave that to you as well. So that's a total of 237.

ahh, i see.

cool.

at this moment, i'm trying to clean up my sister's laptop, got hit with some malware... it infected my flash drive when i tried to get the anti-spyware program off it (and it prevented me from accessing it initially)... and it then tried to infect my laptop when i plugged in the flash drive... but, i have anti-virus/anti-spyware on my laptop. so it got limited to the temp folder and nothing more. but i ran clean up on my laptop just in case.

went back to the other laptop and got into safe mode, which allowed me to access my flash drive.

these scans are taking FOREVER!!!! gahhhh... my laptop finished after little over an hour, the other is still going! it's already over 2 hours. I'm guessing that laptop has a 5400 rpm drive verses my two 7200 rpm drives... in RAID 0, no less.

I mean I always tend to harp on this one, and I'm sorry for the messengers, but to be honest I just don't see what's taking so long only thing I've seen change around here significantly over the past year was addition of some more smileys

I'm not sure. I know that Shaun's got a demo of the new style up for mods, and I've seen it. But I don't know when it will become official. However, when it comes time to do so, NBF will be down for a day or two for the transition, since it involves a new version of vBulletin and a few other site mods.
