Gaming Headphones - What are you using?

I am in the market for some new circumaural headphones. Looking for comfort/quality with multiple drivers/channels. This is the sound card I'll be using.

Budget up to $250

Mainly used for gaming, but occasional movies.

Any recommendations?

Not yet.

I am used to some pretty sexy headsets from David Clark and Bose...

I'll give the 595s a try sometime this week.

These are not your readily-available Bose cans...these are made for aviation...and I don't have to buy them!

This Headroom site in your link is awesome for info on high quality headphones

I was actually looking for some ear canal ones for my pda/phone....LOL,didn't even realise there was such a huge variety and such incredibly expensive ones available

Do you use these 595's with an amp?

Yeah me too.

In the near future though, I want to start looking into a more higher end setup. Changing the cables out, an amp....
