Msg: Error code 2000-0321. Msg: Unable to detect LCD

hello,
my notebook is in my signature,
here is my problem, there is a proplem as shown in pic.


graphics card is a standard one with the intel intergrated graphic card but its fine for my purpose. my screen is 15.4' inches but the last 2 inches of the wide screen is just pitch black. Also the screen is very gloomy and not dark even though the screen brightness is max out. I ran dignostic test and receive the following LCD message. Error Code 0321. Msg: Error code 2000-0321. Msg: Unable to detect LCD

i am still thinking if this is a hardware or software problem.
help me plsssssssssss!!!!

Seems like the cable that attaches from the LCD to the videoboard is either loose or damaged. Just to be sure hit up dell tech and confirm what the issue could be. Even if your out of warranty most computer companies such as HP or Dell are still willing to provide that kind of basic information. Hit us back up when you find out what it is I reccomend Chat they all usually look up th ecode from there big book so you should get a quick response.

i have the same problem, but sometimes the screen works perfectly. Sometimes when I change the resolution (not manually, like open a videogame in 800x600) my computer recognize my screen and works perfectly like 2 days.

 

if someone get the solution please share it.

 

is a hardware or software problem? i have an nvidea card

My studio 1535 decided to start doing this, If I launch diagnostics and exit it figures it out, weird but works for me huh.gif

You might connect an external monitor to the unit ans see if you receive the same error message. IF you do it might mean you have a software issue. If not then it might be a hardware issue. Cheers.
