Eh, any case with the knight Rider led is cool in my book.

Not only does the Blackbird looks good, but it's also practical in design. From the seperate air chambers to the bottom air flow due to the "foot", or the SATA backplane that allows quick hard drive installations. The optical drives slide in and lock into place, and PCI slots have clips that allow you to lock in PCI devices, no need for a screwdriver. In fact the only tool you'll need is the included allen wrench for the 5.25 optical drive bay mounting brackets and motherboard mounts. Side panel images are removeable, so you can customize your design as you like. I plan to put Matrix code as the new side panels, but probably a light blueish "Blackbird" color."

I dunno, I'm stoked to get it. It's due to arrive next week sometime, probably Tuesday or Wednesday according to Voodoo.

I thought you had it all this time...? Whenever you do get it, we need a review! I think everyone wants to see it here. I think you would be the first to have one here.

What size mobo?
What size is too small and what size is too big?
What internal components?

Will do do you care whether it's full or mid ATX? Most likely for the best air or water, you'd want a big case making full more likely to suit you.

Current air recommendations (that I know about so far)

Full: CM Stacker 830

Mid: Antec 900

Most likely components:

780i or 790i mobo
At least two video cards
Most likely Thermalright Heat Sinks
Willing to exchange stock fans

No real restrictions on size.

My top choices so far are:

Lian Li PC-A70B
CoolerMaster Cosmos
Silverstone TJ10 (Didn't think about it too much til I saw Nyako's.

For a smaller profile, also looking at the Lian Li PC - B25

And, still haven't ruled out going with a Mountain Mods case, as it would be relatively easy to upgrade to water cooling if I'm not satisfied with air.

Ok, pd ... keep looking. I want the best out there ... budget is not an issue.

The 830 is a good option, but not crazy about the look.

Here's an idea, although the fan placement isn't very well done

Mozart

And don't worry, still looking around
You gonna include the good "cheap" cases?

I assume you're shopping for your own case as well....

The Mozart is a good option as well ... not one I'd considered. See, we are making progress in the Case thread already! THX.

Ummmm ... yes, of course. I don't think I could have listed about 5 options if I wasn't seriously looking. My reason for asking pdonket for help is because he's in the case research mode, and it's always good to get other's opinions.

(If my questions/comments are cluttering up the thread, just delete them)
