Let's get this Alienware Site back to GREAT!

I have read a lot about people leaving and the over all population going down. I'm sure we all have our own ideas on why or what is the cause. I don't even want to get into that (at all) here. I want to spark a concept which could help bring the site back to what could be or better then ever.

At the lowest common denominator, people come here to learn and then through that process, make and keep friends... It's just that simple. That is all this site is about.

So, what can WE all do to grow our site and thus, grow our comunity? Let's take the farmer stance. They plant seeds. Spreading these informitive seeds of expierence, hurmor, wisdom, visulzation ,reviews, personality and how to's into threads will help keep and also start to expand or "grow" our population. Let's all create something and make it our own project. Then give it over to everybody else. It dosen't need to take a lot of time and dosen't have to be huge. Just make it your own, then give it away!

So, to be the first and hopefuly not the last, the "What is your biggest blunder" thread is my seed. What will be yours?

Good deal, Guntizzle ... we've missed you too!

Sounds like a great idea to me, this site is a great place to share, learn and just relate to one another.

This has been a great forum for me.
I get ideas and information about what's new and up and coming.

Yes, I wouldn't have known about the new alienwares if it weren't for this forum. And, other stuff as well.

It's all about history, nate. Once upon a time, there were more regulars here in the Alienware section. Some things happened, people got upset, and some of the folks no longer visit here. But ... that's in the past, and now we're on to the future. And there are many nice people who've joined in the last year.

As for Durden500, our thread starter ... he knows he's in big trouble if he leaves us for months at a time again!!!!

There used to be alot more back and forth about what folk's were doing with their AW rigs, and alot more bragging about 3DMark scores etc. I'm not sure what happened to those times.

I don't get to come around here as much as I use to, but it's not due to the changing site or people. Just been busy with school and such. Still a bunch of good friends around here.

Nebulous, that's a great Alien you got there. How's the watercooling working out for you? Were there a big drop in temps? I'm too chicken s*** to put water in mine. I always feel like I'm going to some day then I change my mind.

It's a beautiful thing. CPU&2GPUs@39C no matter what load or season. Fun to set up, fairly good bragging rites.

Never done watercooling before. Is it hard to set up? Can the water inside evaporate??
