I had to refill about 1/4 cup in 1 1/2 yrs.

The hardest thing about water cooling is where to put the radiator and pump. I had to drill holes for the radiator barbs and cut out the fan grille because I used a fan shroud as the mounting bracket. I was fortunate that two very slow leaks sealed themselves after 36 hours. Use a non-conductive coolant; more expensive but cheap insurance against a potential disaster.

Same thing happened to myself. I used to post around 8+ threads a day and now I just don't get the time to since school and I had a girlfriend who did not understand my love for technology. Well the girlfriend thing was the biggest part. That's over now and I hope to contribute a whole lot more now. Plus this site, well actually Shazza and Hammer were the main reason I decided to drop $2,000 of my hard earned cash on an alienware laptop and I've never regretted it. Looking back I can actually say it was the best money I've spent in years. However a close second is my resent purchase of an 1996 Crown Victoria Police Enforcer cop car. The thing is sweet.

Yes we did have probably the best section of the notebook forums community here in the alienware mothership. I can honestly say that more Alienware users helped out the other laptop users than they did for their own sections i.e. Dell, HP, Toshiba, Sony, and the other sections. There are just an amazing amount of knowledge bundled up here.

This Forum was a big nudge for me in terms of purchasing an Alienware (long before i registered properly)

it did go kinda quite though......I never seem to have much to contribute here but problems (which many of you guys help solve so thanks for that)

Also (on a constructive note) there already seems to be quite a tight knit community around here, so new peeps coming might find it hard to feel integrated, just my POV, tis not a bad thing, but can be intimidating!

on an Alien related note; How about that Curved DLP display ey! ill be getting one when it comes out properly even if its just fro looks lol!

foolishoverlord, I felt the same way when I started posting here. I did a lot in the peer to peer support thread until I felt comfortable I could actually help out other people. Then it was just a matter of beating Hammer to all the posts!!!

I was a little intimidated as well, but I just started posting and contributed where I could.

That's always a potential issue when there are regulars posting who have been on the boards a while. I felt the same way when I started. Hopefully we can all remember to welcome new folks and make people feel comfortable. Not everyone wants to hang around and chat about non-computer stuff, but it does help give some character to the boards.
