So I got myself a new Precision M4300, very nice. But my happiness is already crusht by finding out that Macdrive does not support 64bit windows
.
So I thought, maybe I can run a dual boot (32-bit) on my second harddrive in the media bay. Only then I thought, damn, there will be no dvd-rom drive in the media bay when installing windows.
Luckilily I have a an external DVD drive, (usb, Samsung) but it is not visible in the one time boot menu. Maybe I need to try it undocked (it was docked when trying).
Alternative would maybe be putting a windows dvd on an USBstick?
And not uninportant: a Vista 32-bit on a mediabay hardrive, does that work ok?
