Well, the evaluation of the above, we believe that the upcoming launch of the nVIDIA graphics - GeForce 9600GT performance has been a general understanding, let us now to the GeForce 9600GT to a Summary.

Results from the evaluation perspective, as the GeForce 8600GTS succession, in the evaluation of GeForce 9600GT and 8600 GTS can maintain about 90% of the lead, has been owned and Radeon HD3850 contend with the capital. From a number of test data also shows that, in addition to Need for Speed 11, Radeon HD3850 and the performance of the GeForce 9600GT between BROTHERS, in the other assessment projects, the GeForce 9600GT are leading Radeon HD3850. 512 M and benefited from the memory capacity, high-resolution GeForce 9600GT in the lead on the more obvious.

Many friends of nVIDIA G94 core of this release is support DX10.1 are more concerned about this issue, from the current news, G94 will not support the upcoming release of Microsoft DirectX 10.1. DX10 from what we can find, DirectX 10 launch market has been a long time, but now that the market can really play the game or a handful DirectX 10, DirectX 10 and popularity of game developers and the support of consumers options are related. In nVIDIA view, are introducing technical support DX10.1 cards also do not have much need.

Judging from the current news that GeForce 9600GT will be released on February 14, is priced at 169 US dollars, equivalent to around 1,299 yuan. This price is good fitness GeForce 8600GTS before pricing, we can see that this nVIDIA intended to replace the 9600 GT GeForce 8600GTS against ATi thousand dollars from the market on the offensive.

Now nVIDIA graphics market, the G80 graphics core has been basically put on the market, based on the G92 core GeForce 8800GTS located in more than 2,000 yuan in the high-end market, the 8800 GT is located in 1,500 to 2,000 yuan on the market. With the emergence of Radeon HD3850, GeForce 8600GTS let out early'000 market position, nVIDIA G92 core GT 256M in 8800 and 8800 GTS 8600 GS has spent the location, but only two products always a transitional product. Now G94 core GeForce 9600GT forthcoming, in terms of core architecture or performance perspective, it is a location will be 1000 - 1,500 yuan ideal market products

see, this is a prime example of how it would be beneficial for me to buy this card, considering I run at 1920X1080. People running at other resolutions may stay with the 8800

still 16 FPS isn't that good.

I'd imagine the 9900 GT will have the same affect resolution wise.

Some more reviews

Man, this card knocks on the HD3870's door at medium resolutions, and is almost as good as an 8800GT - with a much lesser specification. How about that for design efficiency, and I can't wait for the higher end models, they should be a step change from the 8 series

I'll just list the reviews I bookmarker, no quotes, but they are all worth a browse:
