I purchase one OKGear 20X Lightscribe USB 2.0 + Firewire 1394 Aluminum External DVD Burner powered by Samsung SH-S202N/BEBN 20X DVD+/-RW DVD Burner few days ago. I connect with my Dell M1210 that windows XP sp2 did not recognized it. When I connect with USB external HD that windows XP SP2 can find it. I also connect USB printer and scanner that also can recogized it too.How I can do in order let my computer recogized it.

Thanks

Your enclosure could be efective especially considering your other USB devices are recognized right away this eliminates the possibility that your USB port is damaged.

Yes, I think the new enclosure have problem due to other USB devices can recongized right away. I will mail it back where I buy in order exchage new one and check again. But the question is when I connect the enclosure with Notebook USB port that I find out the DVD device come out flash light. That mean chip in enclosure have problem.

Thanks your help.
