how do i turn off the auto click

i have an acer aspire 5315-2153 and when i leave my mouse sitting in any area for a few seconds it auto clicks stuff. sometimes to websites sometimes it clicks in the middle of where im typing and jumbles up my words. is there anyway that anyone knows of to turn it off? id appreciate it!! thanks.

the only thing on the top of my head is to review the mouse properties first

under Alps touchpad properties, disable tapping while typing. should help
