I use a Medion laptop (P4, 2.6GHz, 512MB, nVidia GeForce GoFX5200, Win XP SP2) as media laptop connected to a Samsung LN-T5271 TV (HDTV, 1920x1050 resolution), internal screen is disabled in this profile, monitor is connected as P&P driver.
I can send the laptop into standby and wake it up with the external keyboard.
However, the screen remains dark. Even if I enable the internal screen again and open the laptop, the internal screen is dark as well. The only way to get it back to life is to press the power button for a hard reset.
Any idea where I could start looking and targeting the problem?
Thanks
Joe
