A few E1405 questions...

I searched, nothing is helping...

1. Why doesn't Newegg sell Socket 478 Core 2's?
2. Would upgrading the CPU require upgrading the heatsink/fan?
3. What type of internal dvd burner would work with the 1405?

Thanks in advance for any answers...

Are you ok?

Newegg does show Socket M's those are 478's as well so are Socket P's although they are also 478 they are 800FSB.

socket 479's which you would have used Intel Pentium M processors Inspiron 9300, E1405, etc. (not to be confused with socket M) they are still 478Pin CPUS but they cannot be used on standard 478Pin desktop boards. Pentium M's are non core duo cpus.

they have like 21 Socket M(478) options there. (and no you use the same hsf that you have on your current cpu when updating.)
