Looks promising...

Haven't tried it yet myself as I run Crossover, but it would be interesting if it worked well and would become a resource to run software with more up to date releases or specific versions, something that Crossover's bottles don't handle to well(Though they have their uses).

Wow that looks much better then standard WINE.

Well it is standard wine, it just handles the environment variables to allow multiple versions of wine to run side by side, get one that works and stick with it. That and it provides the tweaks etc needed to get those games working best that others have found, feel free to write your own I suppose as well. But yea, if it is done well it could be a very nice system.

I saw that, but I'm skeptical of it. How is it different from Wine-Doors?

Wasn't aware of Wine-Doors, had to google

From the basic purpose it doesn't sound like it is much. I can't find out much on Wine-Doors current capabilities however, so things like supporting multiple codebases of Wine and git at the same time may make differences. But they seem to have similar goals, and even approaches(Both are written in Python I believe?)

just downloaded and installed it.. all the instructions are in French, which doesn't help me since Je no parle Francais!

edit: ah, finally! there's a language switcher! took a while to find since the program has to update some things first and all the update texts are in French, but I was able to stumble through them.

Let us know how it goes. I couldn't find a list of programs supported yet, so giving an idea of that might also be helpful.
