If i remember correctly only like a handful of companies make barebones lappys and I think Asus is one of them while Alienware is not lol. Buying parts to build an alienware from scratch though probably'll cost you more than having alienware build it lol in terms of monetary and time =/

Alienware sometimes sells them on their eBay store. It's called Alienware Outlet. I'd give a link, but eBay links are against the rules here...
