I wanted to know if anybody has ever heard of someone upgrading their Sony V505DXP's processor or motherboard.
What I really want to do is replace the 1.4 Pentium M with a Intel Core Duo. That would require replacing the motherboard, I think. Or at the very least put in 1.86 Pentium M but I'm still not sure if the motherboard will accept a 1.86 Pentium M.
If anybody can point me to some resource or has done this before, I'd really appreciate the help. I like my V505 a lot and I'd rather not drop another 2 grand for a laptop.
