I also love the case appearance and mousepad, but totally understand where you're coming from on the voodoo PC. If I could've afforded a blackbird rather than the 420 I would've ordered it in a heartbeat. Not only is it more powerful and more beautiful inside, but the case design on the outside is exceptional.
Let's compare specs, versus price ratio... you win.

Oh yeah, I was referring to that little screen. Matrix code, yes?

EDIT: Just checked your specs. With the TB of HD space, and 3 gigs of RAM, versus the extra 8800GT I have, and you paid what? Under a grand? Yeah, you just stomped a mudhole in my wallet and then stomped it dry.

Oh, PD. I can has 8800GT model, manufacturer, idle and load temps plz? kthnxbai.

Well you helped me find another downside of the system. After trying to use multiple different apps to find the temperature of my system it seems Dell likes to block the user out of access of those things

The manufacturer of the GPU is probably just a generic Foxconn

I'll look into the little screen today when I return from testing but from a brief overview the best thing I can see on there is solitaire, guess it's not bad for a 2 inch screen when you're bored.

Have you tried HWMonitor? It may just be Vista that is giving you grief.

Well, today I'm going to talk to Dell about these constantly "chittering" HD's, I'm not sure if it's just one or both but my GOD it's getting annoying. I can be doing nothing on the computer and they are still making noise the whole time, I even moved it onto the floor hidden from me by a thick piece of desk wood and it's still annoying and loud. Hope it's a hard drive rather than the raid setup since I'm sure Dell won't want to change that

Well after being shuffled through 3 techs, we now have updated the "internal records" but it will take 7 days until I can talk to them about the Desktop.

Pain in the ass. I hope it takes less time than that and I can get the damn squirrels out of my computer.

Thanks for the luck

I'm happy to say that I didn't have to use the tech support after using sysinternals to find out that firefox was sending hundreds of read/write commands per second and also AVG was going the same. Reinstalled both and now we're running fine

Also: Updated with 3dMarks06 + CoD4
