Halo Movie???

Okay so this has been much rumored for pretttymuch ever... peter jackson was said to be the director but as of yet nothing has been really said about it. despite everybody saying its not happening there seem to be alot of props being made for it. some pics from bungie of their team having fun with the props.

its pretty crazy and all, i think the live action videos that were made of it are a pretty solid indication that we will be seeing it coming out, props dont get made for no reason afterall.

depends on the bet terms...

as for things i do hope there is a movie in the works. would be great to see it if its the quality of the live action video (teaser?) thats already on the net

the halo:landfall vid on the net is freaking awesome. I loved it and watched it over and over when i first saw it.

coming from a die-hard halo fan, i have a feeling you're gonna be right. I just hope its somewhat good. I mean as long as I like it and I could walk away honestly feeling satisfied, I'd be just fine.

i personally dont think it would fail, it has an even chance of being great or being crap. if its as good as the landfall vid then it would be amazing and likely get huge returns. besides i have heard rumors of peter jackson (of lord of the rings fame) being the director slated to do it.

Yes Peter Jackson was slated for it, I don't know the actual state of things now.

However I will ask one question...

When was the last time you saw a movie based off a video game that was GOOD?

Not just acceptable(Thinking RE there for some people) but GOOD?

I personally don't have high expectations for it. Peter Jackson did great on LotR, but King Kong was mediocore at best IMO. Gonna wait and see.

Only if they don't have a bunch of ten to tweleve year olds behind you in the theater telling you how much you suck or how they f00ked your mom last night.

If that aspect was there, then yeah, it would suck.

Heh strange you should mention that...

We had that watching King Kong in the theater. My Brother in law cracked us up afterwards as he told us he was tempted to turn around with a chocolate bar and say...

"See the chocolate? Want the chocolate? Then SHADDUP!"

Toned down a bit there

This from a guy that doesn't curse, is really quiet, and in general I can't think I have seen him raise his voice. There are definitely things about him I don't like, but I gotta give him credit for that.

Heh nah I gotta put Mortal Kombat above it, and that don't say much for it...
