Dell's New Sigmatel 92XX driver doesn't help much

I downloaded and updated the sigmatel HD 92xx c major driver from Dell for the B130. Needless to say, it didn't help anything. I can't record dvd's anymore since the audio sounds like chipmunks. I am thinking of using the previous driver with the "fix" that actually worked. I lost the cd with all driver and fix files info on it. Along with the registry edit info. Could someone help me out here? Thanks.

Can you be a little more specific? Which driver VERSION (look in Device Manager) are you using? Windows XP or Vista? Did you uninstall the old drivers before installing the new ones? What laptop are you using?

I have a Dell B130 Notebook and I did uninstall the old driver first before installing the new one. The driver version 5.10.0.5515 is what is listed. The OS is XP Home.
