I found RealTek just update their Sound driver today. I heard it fix several sound problems... You might want to try it out...

I found the new driver have some problem with 8886/8887 Modem driver... If you are planing to use Modem then don't upgrade to this version... everytime I try to dial up, the system will restart.

Who still uses a modem? That should go out with the floppy drive!

Hey, if a Sager owner isn't on the bleeding edge of technology, who is?

hehehe... i still use lots of modem connection when I travel.... most of the hotel don't offer lan/wireless connection yet, or if they do it's not worth to pay for just checking email and read some stuffs on net.
Anyway, anyone try new sound driver with modem yet? Any problem or is it just me..... let me know....

Thanks,

Don't they have internet cafe's around your town? You know Starbucks or some other yuppie hideout that offers free WiFi to their patrons?

I don't think that's quite the point. I, for one, do use the T-Mobile Hot Spot sytem for connecting when at a Starbucks or some of the airports, but when I'm in a hotel room at 11pm and want to check my e-mail, I still keep a dial-up system in place to be able to connect then too.
