Aspire 5520 Bluetooth DIY?

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone had any info on how to DIY bluetooth on an Aspire 5520. I'm not sure where to look on my board for the plugin.

try search the net or forum for "diy laptop bluetooth" first. It would be easier if the comp has an option available (meaning only missing the module due to price preference), if not one could try to "extend" the usb port from inside

would it be better with just a usb stick or pcmcia bluetooth?

cheers ...

Well, my case has a button for bluetooth, just not a module installed. And another forum I saw today has DIY instructions for several different models of Acer, but it seems hardly any have the same model as me, and I can't find any instructions for it.

From what I've read, all Acer Aspire models that have a bluetooth switch or button have pins on the motherboard for bluetooth. I have seen pictures of lots of different models of Acer Aspire that have this, just not my particular model so far.
