Poor viewing angle onm1330

I just got my m1330 and im not very happy with the lcd. When it is viewed just slightly off axis it either appears negative or totally washed out. Is this something I could complain to dell and them send a replacement or is this how all the lcd's on this notebook are?

Also, i have the loud whine coming from below the computer but I have the A4 mobo. Is there something else causing this or do I have a faulty a4?

Thanks for the help BTW, i feel like a bitch complaining about these issues because I got this xps for $460 with the help of slickdeals.net brand new. But if there is anyway to fix these two problems this computer will be perfect!!!!!

whats up fellow SD'er Gotta love SD!

I'm still with the XPS 1210 so I can't answer your queries... but I'm sure someone with a similar issue/resolution will post...

Btw, HTF [ How the F* ] did you score the lappy for $460!!! Post away

Well I chatted with support and they are sending me a new lcd to replace this one. Im still confused on the high pitched sound since i have the a4 motherboard but i will deal with that later.

As for how i got it for 460, I purchased it when they were running a special on the m1330 for 999. I used a 10% coupon on that, had a 8% discount from epp, then I called and returned the 3 year warranty and the lojack for a few hundred back making the final price pretty freaking awesome at $460.
