I need some help with my 3 years old m6858Neup. The problem is, that since 2 days, my laptop keeps charging my battery all the time. This means that the charging led keeps on and it seems that the battery gets overheating, because my notebook shuts down after a while (happend 2 times) the battery feels a bit warm, and after rebooting the windows says that my battery is empty and needs to be recharged. Notebook hardware control says that the wear level is 55%, and with a full charge (when the windows/nhc says it's fully charged but the charging led stil on) it last around 1.5 hours. I've checked with a multimeter, when the windows says its charged, the battery has 16,3 Volts.
What can cause the problem, the battery or something bad with my notebook?
