I recently aquired an IBM Thinkpad R30 (2656-22U) - I Cannot find CMOS battery. It's not under the keyboard and not under the RAM panel.

I have checked the R30/31 manual (pdf) and it says that the battery is under the keyboard next to keyboard connector. It's not there. Also, I have replaced a couple others on Thinkpads and they were usually next to the RAM tucked under the case a bit. I cannot for the life of me find the battery. Can anyone please offer up some help??
