The BIOS does not see the HDD, nor does it see the CDROM. There weree one or two instances where the drives were actually recognized and the OS booted, but now for the last 3000 attempts - nothing 
the HDD is good, is easily recognized as USB drive etc
I suspect the motherborad, but think maybe the battery has something to do with it?
Does anyone know how to remediate this sort of issue? Thanks in advance
