ugh...why don't they make a patch to let FEAR use more than one core.

I ask the same about Flight Sim...They say supposably it uses more cores, but I get about 20fps with not even good graphics settings...ITS REDICULOUS. FSX is coded extremely badly, that game should be able to run flawlessly with absolute max settings, but it runs like horse crap. It runs smooth if you turn off half the stuff but still there is no way its using all 4 cores.

are you sure it doesn't use 4 cores, it should use 2 after sp1? i monitor the cpu (q6600) and ram on my G15 keyboard while I play FSX and activity moves from 0 - 4% when idle to 80 - upper 90% when running the game.

Did you install the service packs?

I will have to check my fps when i get a chance.
