Qosmio Cooling System Warning, how to override?

I have been getting this warning recently and the non-processor exhaust fan was busted. I replaced the fan and its still coming up. This qosmio is a g15 with a whole lot of problems and is NOT worth sending in for repairs(it can't be worth more than 350$ in the shape its in).

Essentially I want to override this message(sadly their isnt an option in the bios) if at all possible so I can continue to use the computer at full speed until it truly breaks down for good. It really makes no sense to me for it to slow down the processor when the processor fan is working properly? So I don't see the harm in keeping the processor running up to speed.

Thanks

Does the replacement fan have a valid tach signal wire? If not that's probably why the laptop thinks the fan has failed--because it can't detect the fan's rotation speed.

Other than that, the motherboard may be damaged, specifically the fan control circuit--in which case only a costly motherboard replacement will make things right.

Dont know if you have seen this thread, its old, but there was talk of an extension for F15 and G15 mainboard replacements as well as a memo that is circulating and Toshiba was replacing them as late as last oct. Might be worth your while to read through the whole thread

Strangely enough computer has the new motherboard(its already been warranty repaired two years ago). The fan does have a signal wire as well.

The monitor is ****ed up(lines), it has a slow processor and honestly its junk but I want to delay my purchase of a new computer as long as possible for obvious reasons. Either I find a way around this thing(a way other than fixing(which will cost money)) or I trash the computer.
