802.11g wireless card sux in this 8890

ok i have the new 256mb 9700 pro sager.. and this wireless card sux compared to my old laptop which also had 802.11g .. but for some reason. it just lags me bad.. do i have an old driver? does neone have ne links to new drivers for this card?
plz help me cuz im on the verge of sending this thing back

Either the machine of which you speak is an NP8790 (quite likely), or if in fact the machine is an NP8890, then it does not make use of the Mobility 9700 (M11), nor does it have 256MB of VRAM (the M10 is used NP8890, with 128MB of VRAM).

If the case is the former, you've unfortunately posted in the wrong forum. Before proceeding any further, best to be certain this is posted in the correct forum to receive help. Again, if the former case is true, posting in the Sager 8790 Technical Support forum will prove more fruitful.
