I accidentally deleted a partion and i desperately need your help

Basically i have 3 partitions on my notebook and one of the drive i deleted was the F: containing lots of photos thinking i backed it up successfully and moved on reformatted my C: installing a fresh copy of windows xp pro and now i have no ideas if it's possible to retrieve all my photos...

it may be but you would need some very specialized software, which is also extremely expensive. the hard drive recovery software i have used to recover some vital accounting data was able to pull the files off a drive that was spinning up but wouldnt even be recognized by windows as existing, the downside was that the software was several hundred dollars on its own. even then they may not all be there or recoverable.

alternatively there are companies who help do that but they are extremely expensive.

I've done this before .Lost all photos of trip to Italy. Later found and successfully used "GetDataBack" for deleted file / partition .

Main thing is to back up important stuff to cd or external drive regularly, especially if you are a messer

And just hope you have not written over the data that was on the disc.
