XPS M1530 DVD drive not working

Ok I have had my 1530 for 2 weeks now and my dvd drive is not working. In device manager ir has the yellow ! point and the device status shows Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)

I have tried to update the driver and it did not work. Next step will be to call dell but I was hoping to find the answer myself first.

I found the answer on the net. Was very easy. I just had to delete a single regisry entry and then reboot and it works fine.

hey i may e able to help whats the name brand computer and whats name of dvd player that is installed in you computer for example samsung
