When considering your mainboard and cards, keep scaling in mind on that huge 1080p tv of yours.

So I suppose it's too early to tell. I really want those GX2 specs to be released. But you said you wouldn't expect them out until this summer.

Th GX2 (based on G92) specs and card will be out in March.

I said I wouldn't expect the true next-gen GPUs until summer or later. These will be the 55nm chips.

Ah. So a good plan would be to plan for the the 55nm chips this summer/fall and temporarily buy a G92 card to hold me over in March? Perfect!

Sounds like a plan, but I wouldn't expect your EVGA step-up to still be active when you decide to upgrade.

Well I haven't purchased anything yet. I am merely gathering information to make the decision. Right now it looks as if I'm going with Setup #2. There will be a Setup #3 soon.

I'm looking for a Blu-Ray writer. Came across these on newegg.

if anyone knows of any other deals please let me know.

The reviews are not promising. I guess theres a lot of problems with Vista, and the software is lacking. I just want something I can back up my 2TB of data onto. 25 Blu-ray writable discs will cost me $13.99 which isn't bad at all. I need 80 Discs however.

Well I finally was able to order some blu-ray writeable discs from Frys.com

They came yesterday. If the drive is anything like the one in Conda's notebook review, it takes forever to burn 25GBs.
