i bought a t7200 and tried to replace mine but it didnt work so i had to return it and he will be shipping a new one for me
i also bought a wuxga lcd without the inverter and the backlight from a user here pulled from a dell m6300

my question is will i be able to replace me wxga with the wuxga and use my inverter and backlight that i already have on my m90 and what caused the t7200 not to work , the laptop turns on then shuts off

thanks alot for ur help

You may have got a bad CPU, the M90 should support a t7200 NP. I may suggest if you have not already to get the lastest BIOS update.

as far as the display goes, Hard to say, It may work using your Inverter and Backlight. but there is a chance you will need the WUXGA inverter and backlight for a M90.

What some have found using old inverters with new displays is the brightness controls were reversed etc.

Seeing how the M6300 is a newer model, I do not think anyone has tried this yet. So you'll be the one to really tell us.

Take note of the part Number of the new display if you have problems it will be easiier to research the compatiblity of the display.

Check this Dell Link

http://support.dell.com/support/down...&fileid=218915

It indicates A07 is the lastest BIOS

Check your boot screen upon power on, you will see what BIOS version your presently using.
