my thinkpad R51 developed problem with display - the screen flickers and all display is lost or garbled. I can view very well on auxiliary monitor attached to secondary port.
On sending notebook to authorised service centre in gujarat(India) I was told to go in for $100 job of replacement of lcd cable! is there no other cheaper way out from this predicament?
