I'm actually wondering whether i should sign myself up for psychiatric care, i think lenovo eavesdropped on my thoughts on what a laptop should be.

The only gripe i have is this: it only comes with virusta
But otherwise, great going lenovo!!!

gotta get me one of these...

I played with a Y510 today at the local Office Despot.

I'll admit I was quite underwhelmed with the whole experience. Not that me being a ThinkPad owner has affected my value judgement.

Thank you. I thought I was the only one...on paper, this sounded great. But up close and personal, it had great sound but was...s...l.....o....w...
Damn, I hate Vista.

Blasting Vista and installing Linux is always an option. Believe it or not my sister did that with her Alienware, and it ran much better.

Now what about WinXP? I'm all for linux on most machines, but not for gaming/multimedia machines. (dual boot is always nice) Do you think XP'd work, that the drivers'd be available?

Heard a report the speakers on the y710 were lousy. Any first hand accounts? is it a joke or can you actually have a dance party with friends without hooking up speakers?
