Hi all,
As a follow up to my earlier post http://www.notebookforums.com/thread211531.html, I've discovered that it is a hardware/LCD issue. I even ran a Linux live cd and the same problem occurred on there.
I'm looking to get the machine diagnosed and repaired now. Does anyone have a good recommendation on a local Los Angeles repair center that is authorized to fix Sony notebooks? I'm trying to avoid paying the minimum $99 to have Sony fix/ship it when I can drop off locally instead. Do authorized Sony notebook repair centers even exist?
Any recommendations are appreciated!
