HP Pavillion dv6000 - Performance problem

Thread Starter
Hi Friends,

I have HP Pavillion dv6000 Vista edition laptop since 8 months. Until last week laptop was working fine. But recently my laptop performance is very bad. Following are the problems I am facing.

1. When I try to visit any site using firefox or IE , it takes long time to open or some time it never opens. It just hangs up with rotating circle

2. when I click on my gmail inbox , again it takes some time to open mails

3. Laptop hangs up with rotating circle , when I try to visit any local directories using windows explorer

I purchased this at compUSA. But store is closed now

I really appreciate if some one advise me how to fix this or what is problem.

Thanks and regards

Manju

qhn's questions were all good, but also, there have been some known issues with tghe wireless connectivity on some of the dv6000 models, you might want to check ou HP's support site, particularly the user's forum.

This may, or may not apply to your model, but is certainly worth checking out, as it particularly seems to apply to some of the "older" dv6000 series, which it sounds like yours may be one of them.
