Need help problems w/my desktop

I know this is not the Desktop forum but I know you guys can probably help me - ok I have a desktop and my sister was messing with it I have no clue what she did but now when I power it on I get no visual and and all I get is a long beep - the comp runs just no visual and the hd led is constantly on - anyone have a clue as to what could be wrong with it ? Thanks.

what's the mobo manufacturer. See if they have any beep codes on their site. Usualy One long beep is memory or lack thereof.

Yeah, have to agree with BSMITH, i had an AMD k-6 that I built for a friend and as soon as the ram went bad, blank screen, never ending beep... if you have more than one stick of ram in there, remove one (leave the one in bank 0), if it still occurs switch them.. if problem doesnt go away, put it in your oven and smelt it into computer goo and send it back..
