brushed up on some of my googling skills and here is what i have come up with in terms of the jansport optimizer laptop sleeve (if you can call it a sleeve, more like a compartment)http://www.ebags.com/jansport/optimi...?modelid=15689
Fits laptops up to: 14" x 13.5" x 2.5"
Could be a tight fit to try to get that extra 1" of the inspiron into the 14" compartment.
Also, i personally am not that big on a backpack with a zipper running down the side from top to bottom, if the zipper slid down i shudder to think what might happen to the laptop inside, could possibly slide out?
I looked at the northface firewall, and that's more to my liking, only problem with it is that the laptop sleeve is very very big, laptop could bounce around in there like janet jackson's well you know whathttp://www.backcountrystore.com/stor...=3&subcat_id=8
Northface Firewall sleeve: 12.5" x 19" x 2.5"
(hard to tell with different bag makers switching around the depth/width numbers- or is this one too small because the width of the sleeve really is 12.5 and not 19?)
if the northface firewall above does fit the xps, i may go for it.......
XPS size (9100 is the same):
Height: 2.0 inch (50.8 mm)
Width: 14.1 inch (359 mm)
Depth: 10.8 inch (274 mm)
