blue ray or HD dvd drives? do they plan on it soon? thanks!

im asking cuz thats what i want in my apple notebook when i get one. i just dont know apples much and what is coming out soon

No Macs currently come with Blu-Ray or HD-DVD drives. If they do eventually start shipping with a next gen optical drive it'll most likely be Blu-Ray as Apple is part of the Blu-Ray camp.

There are always rumours but as to which ones are credible your guess is as good as mine.

Many people are hoping it'll happen during the next round of refreshes.

I doubt it will come with the immediate revision but 50-50 before 2009 or 100% for next macworld.
