8800GTX and my laptop...

I was finding every possible solution for a new graphics card and it seems that this is "THE" GPU right now...I was just wondering if i purchased this would i be able to use it in my laptop, or could you tell me how to find this out....Thankyou.

nope it wont work in that system. The highest you can go in that system is the 7950GTX/FX3500.

Well that is dissapointing... I will propably just get a entire new system than that has broad upgrading capabilities...I know the word DESKTOP screams this but my job requires a ton of traveling, and its just not convinient at all, and hardly plausible.

Are there any laptops out there that fit the category of a true gaming computer for a couple three years?

The M1730 now that the 8800GTX Sli GPU is out would be a laptop good for a few years.

and if you get it with Penryn it would be even better.

Another annoying noob question lol... What are some safe ways to go about selling my current laptop? Only one I am aware of is Ebay, if this is the best choice any tips to keep from being ripped off, and according my specs above, what would it be worth? (Purchased it around April-march of last year)

selling on our forums here. see what the going rate is for laptops with similar configs. That's probably your best bet honestly.
