XPS M1530 - Case Allinment?

I just had the dell engineer come to replace the touch sensative cover as it was raised a littlle. Now I have noticed there is a gap between the rigt speaker and monitor case. Is this normal?
I dont remember if that space was here before?

you should have had them fix the pattern on whatever you sat the laptop on there =)
